Brasileirinhos Aotearoa New Zealand Charitable Trust celebrates Brazilian language, culture, and community here in Aotearoa. Through Casa Brasil, we create a welcoming home where families connect, traditions are shared, and Portuguese is kept alive across generations.
Our programmes support every stage of the Brazilian experience in New Zealand — from early childhood playgroups to children’s and teens’ language classes, adult Portuguese courses, cultural events, community gatherings, and support for newcomers. We honour Portuguese as a living expression of identity, belonging, and connection.
We are a volunteer‑led organisation, with teachers delivering our educational programmes and volunteers supporting everything else — from administration to events and the day‑to‑day running of Casa Brasil. Their dedication allows our community to thrive.

The new year has arrived, and with it comes a wave of excitement at Brasileirinhos Aotearoa / Casa Brasil. After a year filled with growth, community, and cultural celebration, we step into 2026 ready to expand, innovate, and welcome even more families into our vibrant Brazilian home in Aotearoa.
We have a home! After years of moving between community centres across Auckland, Brasileirinhos Aotearoa NZ is thrilled to announce our new office at Tūī Glen Reserve in Henderson—thanks to the Henderson-Massey Local Board!
The the Certificate of Incorporation was approved on 8 October 2024.
The final version of the deed for Brasileirinhos Aotearoa New Zealand Charaitable Trust was signed on 29 August 2024 at the Old Goverment House, University of Auckand.
