This year, we are proud to launch our biggest programme line‑up yet — designed to support children, adults, seniors, families, and newcomers as they connect with the Portuguese language, Brazilian culture, and each other.

Brasileirinho Músicas e Brincadeiras Playgroup: Now With More Weekly Sessions!
Our beloved playgroup is growing — and so are the opportunities for families to join us.
This year we are thrilled to offer:
- NEW Monday morning session focused especially on babies
- NEW Wednesday morning session for toddlers and preschoolers
- Our classic Saturday session, full of music, movement, and cultural joy
More days, more music, more connection — and more chances for our little ones to grow up surrounded by Portuguese and Brazilian culture.
👵 NEW Senior Programme (Clube dos Avós) – Starting in February
For the first time, Casa Brasil is launching o Clube dos Avós designed to:
- Support wellbeing and social connection
- Celebrate Brazilian culture across generations
- Offer gentle activities, conversation, and community gatherings
A beautiful way to honour our elders and strengthen intergenerational ties.
⚽ NEW Football for Kids (Ages 2.5–6) – Starting 17 January 2026
Get ready for fun, movement, and Brazilian energy on the field!
Our new Football for Kids programme introduces little ones to:
- Basic motor skills
- Teamwork and confidence
- Playful, age‑appropriate football activities
Perfect for tamariki aged 2.5 to 6 — and a great way to start the year active and happy.
🗣️ Raising Multilingual Children Workshops – 10 January 2026
Back by popular demand, our workshop will support parents and caregivers with:
- Practical strategies for raising multilingual children
- Understanding language development
- Creating a Portuguese‑rich home environment
- Navigating identity, culture, and belonging
