Experience joyful events all year long as we bring Brazilian traditions to life in Aotearoa — filled with music, colour, connection, and cultural pride

Brasileirinhos Aotearoa New Zealand Charitable Trust celebrates Brazilian language, culture, and community here in Aotearoa. Through Casa Brasil, we create a welcoming home where families connect, traditions are shared, and Portuguese is kept alive across generations.
Our programmes support every stage of the Brazilian experience in New Zealand — from early childhood playgroups to children’s and teens’ language classes, adult Portuguese courses, cultural events, community gatherings, and support for newcomers. We honour Portuguese as a living expression of identity, belonging, and connection.
We are a volunteer‑led organisation, with teachers delivering our educational programmes and volunteers supporting everything else — from administration to events and the day‑to‑day running of Casa Brasil. Their dedication allows our community to thrive.
Join us as we celebrate, preserve, and share the richness of Brazilian culture and language with families and the wider Aotearoa community.

2026 marks a special milestone for Brasileirinhos Aotearoa. For the first time, we are running a formal fundraising campaign, also to support the running of Casa Brasil, our community home, cultural hub, and the heart of our programmes. In previous years, our fundraising efforts were event‑based. Now that our vision has evolved and grown, we have different needs and opportunities.
