2026 marks a special milestone for Brasileirinhos Aotearoa. For the first time, we are running a formal fundraising campaign connected to Casa Brasil — our community home, cultural hub, and the heart of our programmes. In previous years, we did not have Casa Brasil, and our fundraising efforts were smaller and event‑based. Now, with a dedicated space to care for, our needs and our vision have grown.

Our Fundraising
Fundraising 2026 marks the first year Casa Brasil joins our campaign, a milestone for Brasileirinhos Aotearoa. This initiative supports cultural, educational, and wellbeing programmes for Brazilian‑Kiwi families while celebrating our heritage through Festa Junina 2026. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community for generations to come.
Why Fundraising 2026 Matters
Casa Brasil is where our community gathers, learns, celebrates, and connects. It is where children grow up hearing Portuguese, where families find belonging, and where our traditions stay alive.
Our 2026 fundraising goal is $20,000, which will support:

Keeping cultural, educational, and wellbeing programmes accessible

Installing a heat system to keep Casa Brasil warm in winter

Building a storage shed for community resources

Expanding and caring for our community library

Our fundraising efforts come together at one of the most beloved celebrations of the year: Festa Junina – XII Arraiá dos Brasileirinhos

Join us for our biggest cultural celebration of the year.
Every contribution helps strengthen Casa Brasil and our programmes.
Contact one of the Family members and be in to win great prizes.
Families can donate traditional food or ingredients for Festa Junina stalls.
Help with event setup, games, food stalls, logistics, or community care.
If you’re not yet part of Brasileirinhos Aotearoa, join our community.
For the Business & Community Partners
Choose a donor tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond) and support our community.
Donate vouchers, products, or services for our Festa Junina raffle.
Businesses can apply for a food stall at Festa Junina.
Make a Food donation, traditional food for Brasileirinhos Festa Junina stalls.
Photography, sound equipment, cleaning, printing, beverages, ingredients — all are welcome as donations.
