FUNDRAISING 2026
Featuring our flagship event:
XII Arraiá do Brasileirinhos
Saturday, 18 July 2026 | 11 AM - 5 PM | Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre
Annual Fundraising Goal $20,000
2026 marks a special milestone for Brasileirinhos Aotearoa. For the first time, we are running a formal fundraising campaign, also to support the running of Casa Brasil, our community home, cultural hub, and the heart of our programmes. In previous years, our fundraising efforts were event‑based. Now that our vision has evolved and grown, we have different needs and opportunities.
To ensure full transparency and easy access to information, we created this dedicated fundraising page where the community can follow our goals, progress, and ways to contribute.

Ways you can Contribute
Brasileirinhos Aotearoa invites local businesses and community partners to support our cultural celebration and community programmes. Your donated funds, goods, services, and raffle prizes make Festa Junina possible and strengthen our educational and cultural initiatives.
All contributions — financial or in-kind — are treated as donations. Your generosity keeps our programmes accessible, supports Casa Brasil, and nurtures Brazilian culture in Aotearoa New Zealand.
💛 Together, we can reach our $20,000 goal and continue building an inclusive, joyful community.

Fundraising Book Sale
Our Fundraising Book Sale features books donated to support the 2026 Fundraising for the XII Arraiá dos Brasileirinhos. We gratefully acknowledge the generous contribution of independent author Iara Pimenta, who donated 20 copies of her works O Meu dia em poesia... Quem diria? O Dia de Zezé and O Meu dia em poesia... Quem diria? O Dia de Babi. Two of these books will be part of our raffle prizes, while the remaining copies will be available for purchase at our solidarity book stall, helping strengthen Brasileirinhos Aotearoa’s cultural and community initiatives. Each book purchased is an act of support for our community and the work we carry out throughout the year.
