Annual Fundraising - Goal $20,000
Fundraising at Brasileirinhos Aotearoa is how we keep our community strong, safe, and thriving throughout the year. Every contribution whether through tickets, donations, sponsorships, food stalls, raffles, or volunteer support, helps us maintain Brasileirinhos Aotearoa, deliver cultural and educational programmes, and create events that bring our Brazilian‑Kiwi families together.
In 2026, our fundraising efforts will support essential improvements at Casa Brasil, including operational costs, a new security system, a heat pump for winter, and a storage shed.
As donations come in, this page will be updated so our community can follow our progress and celebrate each milestone with us.

Cada contribuição seja por meio de ingressos, doações, patrocínios, vendas de comida, rifa ou apoio voluntário, ajuda a manter a Brasileirinhos Aotearoa, fortalecer nossos programas culturais e educacionais e realizar eventos que aproximam nossas famílias brasileiras na Nova Zelândia.

Tickets (donation-based)
Entry tickets for Festa Junina are treated as donations supporting our annual fundraising event.

Anyone can make a direct donation online — even if they can’t attend the event.

Raffle Tickets / Colheita
A single raffle draw — one lucky winner receives all prizes donated by sponsors. Also support the Portuguese classes in the Havest Challenge, a joyful Festa Junina tradition.
How to participate: Buy raffle tickets from one of our families or at the event. The draw will be held during Festa Junina 2026.
Food Donation
Families and local businesses donate traditional Brazilian sweets and foods to raise funds at Festa Junina.

Volunteer
Our events rely on the energy and dedication of volunteers from the Brasileirinhos community. Volunteers make everything possible — from setup and food stalls to games and clean‑up — reducing costs and strengthening community bonds.
How to participate: Sign up through our volunteer form or contact the coordinator to choose your preferred role and time slot.
Services - In Kind
Professional Service Donations (face painting, photography, cleaning, band, sound system). Professionals donate their time and skills to make the event special and saves costs and adds creativity and joy to Festa Junina.

Get a Voucher
Avoid queues. Get a voucher online and redeem to tokens to buy food and games at Brasileirinhos Stalls. Can only be used at the Festa Junina 2026.

2026 Harvest Challenge - Desafio da Colheita 2026
🌽 2026 Harvest Challenge: A Tradition that Unites and Strengthens our Community
For Festa Junina 2026, Brasileirinhos Aotearoa is bringing back a beloved tradition from Northeast Brazil: the selection of the 2026 Harvest Challenge Champion. This activity celebrates our culture, involves the children from our Portuguese classes, and supports our annual fundraising in a joyful and meaningful way.
The class that sells the most raffle tickets will earn the title:

The winning class will be honoured during Festa Junina in a special moment on stage filled with music, celebration, and community pride.
This tradition strengthens our sense of belonging, encourages family participation, and helps raise essential funds to keep Casa Brasil safe, warm, and thriving.

O Brasileirinhos Aotearoa está trazendo para a Festa Junina 2026 uma tradição muito querida do Nordeste brasileiro: a escolha do campeão da Colheita 2026.
Além de celebrar nossa cultura, essa atividade envolve as crianças das turmas de Português e contribui diretamente para o nosso fundraising anual.
A turma que vender mais rifas será coroada como:

Essa turma receberá o título de Campeã da Colheita do Milho durante a Festa Junina, em um momento especial no palco, cheio de alegria, música e celebração.
Essa atividade fortalece o espírito de comunidade, incentiva a participação das famílias e ajuda a arrecadar fundos essenciais para manter a Casa Brasil segura, acolhedora e cheia de vida.

The traditional Harvest Challenge activity has begun, and our Portuguese classes are excited to compete for the title of 2026 Harvest Challenge Champion Class. Every raffle ticket sold directly supports Brasileirinhos fundraising goals and brings each class closer to being crowned during Festa Junina.
To participate, simply contact one of our families to purchase a raffle ticket. Every ticket helps our community grow stronger.
